Our Products

What is Braid Miracle Braid Spray?

Braid Miracle Braid Spray is a lightweight scalp care spray designed specifically for braids and protective styles. It helps soothe tightness, relieve itch, reduce buildup, and refresh your scalp between washes — without leaving residue or disturbing your style.

How do I use the braid spray?

Shake well, then spray directly onto your scalp, focusing on areas that feel tight or itchy. Gently massage with your fingertips. Use as needed throughout the life of your style.

What are Miracle Mitts?

Miracle Mitts are pre-soaked, glove-shaped scalp cleansing wipes designed to remove sweat, oil, and buildup without water and without frizz. Simply slip them on and run your fingers through your scalp for an instant refresh.

How do I use the Miracle Mitts?

Simply remove a mitt from the packaging and place it over your hand. Gently massage your scalp between braids, focusing on areas with buildup, sweat, or itchiness. There’s no need to rinse. Allow your scalp to air dry, then style as usual.

Can I use these products on any type of braids?

Yes! Our products are designed for all braid types—box braids, knotless braids, cornrows, twists, and more.

Will this help with tight braids?

Yes. Our Braid Spray is designed to soothe normal post-install tension and support scalp comfort. That said, braids should not be excessively tight or painful. If you’re experiencing severe discomfort, it’s important to contact your stylist and consider loosening or removing the braids.

Are your products safe for sensitive scalps?

Our formulas are designed with sensitive scalps in mind and avoid heavy, pore-clogging ingredients that commonly cause buildup and irritation. We always recommend reviewing ingredients and doing a patch test if you have known sensitivities.

Are Braid Miracle products "all-natural" or "chemical-free"?

We focus on thoughtfully sourced materials and quality ingredients designed with care. We avoid making absolute claims, but transparency matters to us—check the ingredient list on each product page.

Can I use your products while wearing a wig or extensions?

Yes. Our products are suitable for a range of protective styles, including wigs, sew-ins, twists, and extensions. Apply to the scalp as needed and adjust based on your routine.

Braid Care Tips

How often should I cleanse my scalp while wearing braids?

It varies based on lifestyle, workouts, and scalp type — but most braid wearers refresh their scalp every 1–2 weeks. If you experience itch, odor, or buildup, that’s your sign it’s time to cleanse.

How can I reduce tension from tight braids?

You can apply our Braid Spray to help soothe post-install tension and gently massage around tight areas. But braids should not be painful or excessively tight. If discomfort continues, contact your stylist to loosen or adjust the braids.

How do I prevent buildup while wearing braids?

Avoid heavy oils and products that sit on the scalp. Use our Miracle Mitts regularly to gently cleanse and refresh.

How long can I keep my braids in?

Most stylists recommend 6-8 weeks max to protect your hair and scalp health. Pay attention to how your scalp feels and take breaks between installs.

How do I stop my braids from itching?

Itchy braids are usually caused by dryness, tension, buildup, or irritation from braiding hair. To reduce itch:

  • Keep your scalp hydrated with a lightweight braid-friendly spray
  • Avoid heavy oils that can clog pores and trap buildup
  • Gently refresh your scalp between washes
  • Make sure your braids aren’t installed too tightly

A soothing scalp spray designed specifically for braided styles can help calm irritation without leaving residue or disturbing your install.

How do I wash my scalp without ruining my braids?

Your scalp and braids should be cleansed regularly — ideally every 1–2 weeks. Braids can trap sweat, buildup, and bacteria if not properly washed.

To cleanse safely:

• Section your braids
• Apply diluted shampoo directly to the scalp and along the braids
• Gently massage without excessive friction
• Rinse thoroughly
• Allow braids to dry completely before styling

Between wash days, use Miracle Mitts to refresh your scalp and reduce buildup without disrupting your style.

What causes scalp irritation with braiding hair?

Scalp irritation while wearing braids can be caused by:

  • Synthetic hair coatings or chemicals
  • Tight installation
  • Lack of scalp cleansing
  • Heavy product buildup
  • Sensitivity to certain fibers

Choosing high-quality braiding hair and maintaining a consistent scalp care routine can significantly reduce irritation. If discomfort persists, consider switching hair types or doing a patch test before your next install.

Can braiding hair cause allergic reactions?

Yes — some people experience allergic reactions to synthetic braiding hair, especially if the hair is coated with certain chemicals or preservatives.

Signs of a reaction may include:

  • Severe itching
  • Redness
  • Burning sensation
  • Small bumps or rash along the scalp

If you suspect an allergic reaction, remove the hair and consult a professional. Opting for higher-quality or hypoallergenic braiding hair and maintaining proper scalp care can help prevent irritation.

What materials is your braiding hair made from?

Our braiding hair is made with premium Spetra fiber, selected for its lightweight feel, durability, and smooth installation experience. We work closely with suppliers and continuously evaluate our materials to support quality and performance.

Is Braid Miracle braiding hair safe to use?

Our products are designed for external cosmetic use and are intended to be worn as braiding extensions. We prioritize thoughtful sourcing and ongoing quality review as part of our commitment to the braiding community. As with any beauty product, we encourage proper handling and care during installation.

Do you test your braiding hair for heavy metals or VOCs?

We review supplier documentation and continue to assess opportunities to strengthen our quality control and testing practices as industry standards evolve. We are committed to transparency and continuous improvement.

What can I do to reduce irritation while wearing braids?

Avoid installing braids too tightly and ensure proper ventilation when using heat tools. Wash hands after prolonged handling and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Comfort also depends on installation technique and individual scalp sensitivity.
